Cynthia is the County Extension Director for Woodford County. As such, she provides leadership in developing the Plan of Work for Woodford County, working in conjunction with Extension staff and local citizens. She has primary responsibility for working with the local Extension council, serves as the fiscal manager of the office, and supervises paraprofessional staff. Cynthia holds a bachelor of science degree in Anthropology and a masters of science degree in History from Illinois State University. Her professional background is in museum administration.

Cynthia coordinates programming in Family & Consumer Sciences, Community & Economic Development, and Local Government Information & Education using campus resources, as well as Extension Educators from our center offices in East Peoria, Springfield, and Macomb. She also supports Woodford County Educator staff and volunteers in the areas of Agriculture, Natural Resources, 4-H, Youth Development/School Enrichment, Master Gardener Program, and Family Nutrition Program.
