WANTED: 4-H Club, 4-H Project Club and 4-H Cloverbud Group Leaders

WANTED: 4-H CLUB, 4-H PROJECT CLUB AND 4-H CLOVERBUD GROUP LEADER VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTION FOR WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Role Title: 4-H Club, 4-H Project Club and 4-H Cloverbud Group Organizational Leader

Purpose: To provide guidance in planning and executing the club/group/cloverbud fun annual meeting schedule while arranging for speakers, training, etc; and help in developing and implementing 4-H Programming for the county.

Success Criteria: The club/group/cloverbud members and county office receive copy of yearly schedule. Goals are met when members benefited from the activities, speakers, etc. Leaders participate in as many as they can county/regional/state 4-H Leader programming meetings.

Time Required: Monthly Club/Group/Cloverbud Meetings 1-2 hours September ‑ August. They maybe for only six sessions.

Responsibilities: Develop with members in 4-H Club/4-H Project Club/4-H Cloverbud Group the Information Form that reflects planned meeting schedule, community services, speakers and etc. Cloverbud Groups must complete six Cloverbud Curriculum Activities. Please have the county office to print this form so you can give a copy to members and county office. Participate in as many as you can county/regional/state 4‑H Youth Development activities. Provide the County Office with Extension Volunteer Screening Application & every five years update CANTS form, Police Background Check and Vehicle License & Vehicle Insurance yearly.

Target Dates: September 1st ‑ August 31 Carry Out Club/Group/Cloverbud Goals; Participate in 4-H County Events; National 4-H Week - Window Display Contest; 4-H Achievement Awards Night Program; County/Region/State Workshops and Contest; Review 4-H Family Newsletter at each meeting; participate in 4-H County Leader Programming Meetings.

Highlighted Months: September - Finalize 4-H Club/4-H Project Club/4-H Cloverbud Group Information Form and distributed a copy to group and County Office; Attend 4‑H Achievement Awards Night Program; Clubs only Elect Officers.

October ‑ National 4-H Week-Window Display Contest for 4-H Club/Group/Cloverbud Group

July - Support by attending and helping with 4-H County Shows, Begin development of monthly Club/Group/Cloverbud Goals and Calendar for next year's meetings.

August - Clubs/Group/Cloverbud due to County Office End of the Year reporting for 4-H Achievement Awards Night Program; Clubs only - Participate in County Secretary, Treasure, IL Awards Records Contest; Club/Cloverbud Treasury Book Audit
