There is something about making Christmas decorations that brings joy to every heart. Telling friends you designed that wreath on the door or over the mantel begins instant conversation.

You can start with a circular frame from a garden center or bend your own from some coat hangers.

Pack the wire frame with florists moss and tie the moss in place with green string or small florist wire.

Now add foliage such as pine or holly in layers covering the moss.

Next select pine cones, holly berries, or other decorations of choice to accent the foliage collection. This can be to the designer's taste and include poinsettias or even roses.

A ribbon can be added if wanted and then finally a wire on the back to allow the wreath to be hung.

Creating your own wreath makes the holiday more exciting and allows creativity to be released. So, why not give it a try and design your own Christmas wreath?
