Nutrition & Health

"The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) staff teach and promote safe and healthy eating for families on a budget." We work with adults, seniors, youth and children who are of pre-school age throughout Tazewell County. We work with families who are in the Supplemental Nutrition assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP helps families buy healthy foods through their local grocery stores for a nutritious diet.

FNP believes that we all learn best by using our senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. Participants in FNP experience nutrition.
