Each year the State 4–H Office offers awards for 4–H Clubs and 4–H groups that have done outstanding programs during the 4–H year. There are several areas in which clubs can apply: Agriculture, Community Involvement and Global Understanding, Environment and Natural Resources, Food Nutrition & Health, Home & Family, Mechanics & Technology, and Personal Development. If your club has done an outstanding county community service project program, or other event, please contact the Extension Office so you can apply for these awards. All applications must be received at the State 4–H Office by August 15^th.

It is never too early to begin working on your 4–H records/award applications. Before the chaos of summer is entirely upon us, update those 4–H records and activity sheets. It will make your award application much simpler to complete. All county Award Applications and project records will be due to your leaders in late August or early September. Best of luck to each of you as you prepare your Award Applications.
