The State Dairy Quiz Bowl was held on Saturday, March 1st, 2008, and the State Poultry, Dairy, and Livestock Judging Contests were held in Champaign on Tuesday, June 17th, 2008. Please take time to recognize all of the participants for their hard work and participation in these events at your next club meeting. The Poultry Team was: Katie Engelkens, Chad Wilhelms, and Sarah Wilhelms. The Dairy Judging Teams consisted of: Anna Folgate, Bria Koester, Daniel Obert, and Jordan Oellerich. The Sr. Dairy Quiz Bowl Team members were: Ashely & Kaitlyn Higgins. The Jr. Dairy Quiz Bowl Team members were: Anna Folgate, Bria Koester, Mikhayla Luttropp, Kaylen Miler, Daniel Obert, Jordan Oellerich, Crystal Rote, Riley Zettle, Kelsey Zettle, and Lindsey Zettle. This year's Livestock Team was unable to attend. Thanks for the enthusiasm of all those who participated. We hope to see you all again next year.
Also, a huge THANK YOU to our coaches Becky Meier, and Jennifer Busker for Quiz Bowl; Jason Meier, Dairy Judging; and Rita Koch, Poultry. Their help to prepare these individuals is greatly appreciated. These coaches have spent endless hours preparing our youth for these contests! Be sure to contact the Extension Office if you would like more information on any of these teams, or if you know a 4-H'er who would like to join a team next year! They are always looking for new faces!

Dairy Promotion Poster Contest
The 2008 June is Dairy Month Poster Contest was an overwhelming success this year. There were over 72 posters that were displayed and voted on at this year's Ag Breakfast. Thank you to all that participated to make this an outstanding promotion of the dairy industry. This year's winners are as follows:
