  • Working Families Newsletter---a quarterly newsletter targeting families with adults who work outside the home and are raising children. Contact the Stephenson County Extension Office to receive a copy.
  • Connecting with Kids---a bi-annual newsletter with information of interest to parents and/or teachers of elementary school age children. Contact the Stephenson County Extension Office to receive a copy.
  • Parenting Again---a newsletter written for grandparents raising their grandchildren. Contact the Stephenson County Extension Office to receive a copy.
  • Nibbles---a bi-annual newsletter written for families with pre-school age children. Contact the Stephenson County Extensio Office to receive a copy.
  • Satellite downlink classes are available for child care professionals. Contact the Stephenson County Extension Office for a schedule of classes.
  • Weekly Parenting and Life Skill classes are provided for the transitional housing program through Freeport Area Church Cooperative.
  • Programs and resources for after school programming are available on request. Some program topics are Character Counts, Let's Talk About Money, and Teamwork and Recreation.
  • Lessons for Living---training sessions on teaching others consumer economic and family living topics. Local leaders from local groups attend and teach the lesson to others. Topics vary from year to year.
