4-H Camp Registration Letter

Greetings to our new Camp White Eagle 4-H friends!

We are honored to continue having the 4H program at Camp White Eagle, and to help instill positive values, develop friendships and lay the foundation for the bonding that only camp can provide. We look forward to maintaining precious Camp White Eagle traditions while contributing our own love of working with people and our own perspective of the camp experience. To make sure that the 4H Camp White Eagle spirit continues to thrive, we are busy preparing for Summer Camp 2008! Enclosed in this mailing, you will find everything you need to register for camp. Please pass on any extra applications to friends, relatives, and co-workers...share the excitement of 4-H camping!

1. Registration. You will once again register directly with us here at Camp White Eagle. Fill out the enclosed 4-H Camp Application and return it, with your fees, to camp using the address at the top of the application. Make checks payable to: Camp White Eagle.

2. One fee for everyone. Your non 4-H school or church friends attend camp for the same price as 4-H members, based on when they register. Children do not have to be active members of 4-H to attend camp. However, all campers and their families agree to follow the high standards of personal behavior expected of all 4-H campers.

3. Early registration savings. We are once again offering fee reductions for families that register early. Please note the cut-off dates.

4. Lock in Rate. Beginning this summer, a camper can "lock in" the tuition paid for camp. For example, if you pay $200 for 2008, you can guarantee the same rate for as many consecutive years as you keep coming to camp. Certain terms and conditions apply.

5. Camp White Eagle Brother/Sister Scholarship. The Gordon family offers reduced fee scholarships to the second and third children of families when the first child registers at full fee. These scholarships are available only though April 15.

6. 4-H Scholarship. Contact your local extension office for details of this scholarship. Typically, the scholarship is given as a rebate in the fall after camp.

7. Cabin assignments and requests. Cabin bunk assignments are tailored by age range. Buddy requests are limited to children of the same age and sex and cannot be guaranteed.

8. Copying. Please feel free to copy this information as needed.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give us a call at camp: 815-738-2754. See you in the summer!

Peace,

Kevin and Natasha
