Cloverbud Information

General Cloverbud Information

4-H used to be just for your older brothers and sisters. But now, it's for you, too, with Cloverbuds! Just like older 4-Hers, you can decide which project you want to take. When you take a project you will do activities to help you learn more about what interests you. Cloverbuds have several projects to choose from.

The Cloverbud program is open to all chidren ages five to seven years old as of September 1 of the current 4-H year.

Throughout the 4-H year, there are many activities for the Cloverbuds, their leaders, and their parents.

Cloverbuds are elgible to participate in many local and county activities designed for 4-H members. Cloverbud members will exhibit their projects as part of the County Fair. Exhibitors will be awarded ribbons, but not premium money. Competition is not a factor for Cloverbud members. They are encouraged to enroll in only one project per year, especially their first year.
