Corn is the gift of gold. Through learning about one common, international food, youth will explore agriculture, nutrition, science, art, and other disciplines. Through hands-on exploration that includes songs, stories, video, and eight computer games on a CD, students will expand their knowledge of an important food commodity. There are three lesson booklets, each containing 10 lessons. Included is Corn is Maize by Aliki, which is referenced in many of the activities.
