Volunteer training is essential so that volunteers not only understand the expectations of their role but have the skills, competencies, and information necessary to be successful.
4-H offers a variety of training opportunities at the county, multi-county, state, and regional levels. In addition, the 12 North Central states take turns hosting the North Central Region Volunteer Forum each year in the fall.

The North Central Region Volunteer Forum each year in the fall. The forum offers workshops, speakers, entertainment, networking, and idea sharing among volunteers. The forum rotates among the 12 states in the North Central Region. Contact your local Extension office for dates, location and registration information. The forum is open to all 4-H volunteers.
