Jamie Wheeler is the Unit Educator, Youth Development, for University of Illinois Extension in Jefferson County. Her master's degree, bachelor's degree, and associate's degree are from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.

In her role as Unit Educator, Wheeler works with Extension staff and the Jefferson County Extension Council to assess needs, determine program priorities, and deliver and evaluate 4-H youth development programs within Jefferson County.
