As the Kendall County, Illinois horticulture extension educator, Jeff uses his degrees in science, zoology, horticulture and landscape architecture to help others learn about nature and landscapes. He has managed garden centers in Texas and Illinois and owned a water garden and wild bird nature store. His weekly newspaper column 'A Greener View' has been written since 1990 and is syndicated nationally. His articles and photographs have also appeared in more than fifty-five articles in Pond Keeper, Water Garden Magazine, Landscape Architect and Specifier News, Landscape Contractor Magazine, Ponds USA, American Nurseryman and other publications.
