Cook Shack
Dear Unit Presidents,
Fair dates — July 20-23 this year. Clean up day in the Cook Shack before the fair will be Friday, July 17 and will start at 8 am. The after fair clean up will be Thursday, July 23 at 8 am. We need a volunteer from each unit to help with the clean up.
Each president — will be the chairperson from your unit and will be in charge during your shift. All units must supply workers either from the unit or friends, family or an older neighbor to help in their place.
Pork Chop Supper — we need extra help from all units in order to have ample help for the serving and take out line.
I am asking units to donate slaw, brownies and cookies this year, and if you have any garden tomatoes or onions we would appreciate them.
I also ask that you use disposable pans for your pies, if you use a cookie sheet it helps cook them evenly and the disposable pans help us from loosing your pans.
PIES SHOULD BE MARKED SO WE CAN TELL WHAT KIND THEY ARE.
Remember fruit pies only. We need a variety of gooseberry, blackberry, raspberry, rhubarb, raisin, cherry, apple and peach.
Thank You, Kim Mathias, Shelby County HCE President
