Young Farmers Activities
Join the Shelby County Young Farmers for Children's Activities at the Shelby County 4-H & Jr. Fair
Monday, July 20, 2009 on the Fairgrounds
6:30 p.m. -- Cutest Little Farmer Contest
Categories for boys and girls ages 1 to 3. Dress up as a farmer would. Prizes will be given away.
7:00 p.m. -- Money in the Straw
Up to $50 buried in a straw pile for children ages 1 to 3. Hunt for quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies and more.
7:15 p.m. -- Pedal Pull
Dirt Slinging and the roar of the crowd for children ages 4 to 7. Each child is asked to bring a non-perishable food item or canned good as an entry fee.
Come support the kids as they pedal their way to the finish line. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places will be awarded in each age category for the farthest pulls.
All pedal pull contestants names will be put into a drawing for a GRAND PRIZE Pedal Tractor compliments of Sloan Implement at the end of the Pedal Pull.
