The University of Illinois Extension Food Nutrition Program (FNP) promotes safe and healthy eating by providing nutrition education programs and materials for food stamp eligible residents of Sangamon and Menard Counties.

FNP program staff Michelle Morris and Glenda Johnson will provide programs throughout the year based on:

• Nutrition Education
• Safe Eating
• Food Budgeting
• Healthy Lifestyles

Special summer programs are presented by summer FNP staff Betsy Hermes and Donna Schroeder and available to organizations and groups providing summer youth programming.

The Food Stamp Nutrition Program (FNP) is funded with Food Stamp Administrative funds by the Food & Consumer Service of the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Food Stamp Nutrition Education Programs are available throughout Sangamon and Menard Counties upon request.
