4-H Fun With Food
4-H Fun With Food kicks off the summer with children from Abundant Faith participating in the four day camp. Children are brought to the Extension kitchen where Family Nutrition Program staff Donna Schroeder and Betsy Hermes teach the children cooking techniques, basic nutrition, how to set a table, the importance of washing hands and other food safety skills. Best of all while learning important skills the children sit down to lunch they have prepared.
