The Sangamon County Extension office is located on the Illinois State Fairgrounds, following are driving directions:
From the West: Interstate 72 to Veterans Parkway. Take Veterans Parkway north to 8th Street. Turn right on 8th street entering Gate 7 onto the Fairgrounds. The Extension office is located 1/4 of a mile on the right hand side of the street in the University of Illinois Bldg. #30, across from the swine and sheep barns.
From the East: Interstate 72 to Interstate 55 North. From Interstate 55 take the Sangamon Ave. exit, traveling west on Sangamon Ave. turn right onto 8th Street entering Gate 11. Going north on 8th street the Extension office is located approximately 1/4 of a mile on the left hand side of the street in the University of Illinois Bldg. #30, across from the swine and sheep barns.
From the South or the North: From Interstate 55 take the Sangamon Ave. exit, traveling west on Sangamon Ave. turn right onto 8th Street entering Gate 11. Going north on 8th street the Extension office is located approximately 1/4 of a mile on the left hand side of the street in the University of Illinois Bldg. #30, across from the swine and sheep barns.
