The Sangamon-Menard Agricultural Education Partnership is a collaborative effort between Sangamon-Menard Extension, Sangamon and Menard Farm Bureaus, Department. of Agriculture, Sangamon County SWCD and other commodity groups to provide education and resources for agricultural programming in the classroom. Ag literacy coordinator, Carrie Winkelmann provides various educational programs to teachers and classrooms on request. Programs include:
- Wheat - "The Wheat You Eat"
- Apples - "Apples Smile"
- Pumpkin - "Pumpkin Chain: From Seed to Pumpkin"
- Corn - "Kerbie the Kernel" talks about growth and uses of field corn
- Sheep - "From Sheep to Sweater"
- Pork - "Pigs"
- Popcorn - "Popcorn - The Seed We Eat"
- Soybean - "Oh Say Can You Seed"
- Beef - "Beautiful Bovine"
- Dairy: "Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You?" for lower elementary
- Dairy: "Milk From Cow to Carton" for upper elementary
