Join 4-H - Where Kids Invent Themselves
Join Rock Island County 4-H today and let the FUN begin! You'll find that 4-H is a fun place to "invent" yourself. 4-H gives you the chance to learn about NEW things like writing stories, taking pictures, using computers, caring for pets, cooking, drawing and painting, weather, model rockets, flower arranging, creative drama, and a WHOLE LOT MORE! There are dozens of clubs in the area that you can join. In 4-H you can have fun as you participate in exciting hands-on activities and meet new friends. At monthly meetings yo umay play games, work on projects, take a field trip, have a party and more - the opportunities are endless! Contact us today to share your interest.     CYFERNet is a national network of Land Grant university faculty and county Extension educators working to support community-based educational programs for children, youth, parents and families. CYFERNet provides program, evaluation and technology assistance for children, youth and family community-based programs.

    Helps parents locate appropriate child care and helps providers and communities improve and expand their child care services.

  • Parenting 24/7
    The Parent-to-Parent (P2P) website is a new Family Life program that helps parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers cope with the challenges of raising children and fostering a positive family life. Using videos, message boards and selected resources, users can see how other parents cope with the challenges of childrearing, share problems and solutions, and get research-based expert advice.
