Our Mission. . .

  • to build friendships
  • to learn to work as a team
  • to provide an opportunity to experience leadership
  • to serve as voices for Our Club in regards to activities in Rock Island County
  • to recognize, appreciate, and take advantage of differences
  • to learn to follow through with commitments
  • to serve our community
  • to represent 4-H in our community
  • to learn the value of commitment and volunteering in Rock Island County


4-H Teen Federation

Who can join. . .
Teens, age 13-18, who want to make a difference in Rock Island County, while having fun and learning the value of commitment, leadership, and teamwork.

When does the Federation meet. . .
Monthy meetings are held the first Monday of each month at the Extension office, 321 West 2nd Ave., Milan, IL. For more information contact Michael Woods. Upcoming dates are December 7, January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5.

4-H Teen Federation has helped with the following Community Service Activites in the past:

  • Make a Difference Day
  • 4-H Can Make a Difference
  • Safe Night
  • Birdies for Charity
  • Christmas Angel Tree
  • Diaper Drive
  • Paint a mural at the fairgrounds
  • Yearly Bliid Drive
