Evelyn Prasse is an Extension Educator, Consumer and Family Economics, with University of Illinois Extension. She is located in the Rockford Extension Center and provides programming in financial management, consumer decision making, housing and indoor environment for the Boone, DeKalb, Winnebago, Jo-Carroll, Ogle, Lee, Stephenson, and Whiteside County Extension units.

Evelyn has a bachelor's degree in home economics education from Western Illinois University and a master's degree in Extension education from the University of Illinois.

She has been employed by University of Illinois Extension for more than 25 years. She served as an Extension Home Economist in Stephenson and Carroll counties and a Unit Leader in the Stephenson County Unit before joining the Rockford Center in 1993.
