Turf Spreader Applications

Granular products can be spread on lawns and other areas using drop spreaders or spinner spreaders. With either type of spreader, proper calibration is required to get an accurate and uniform application. The applicator needs to 1) use a technique that distributes the granules uniformly and 2) know the amount of granules the spreader will apply to an area when the proper technique is used.
