Memorial Day has passed and there is still a lot of corn to plant in the eastern corn belt. It is now officially late in the planting season. Last year something similar happened in the western corn belt, and it turned out O.K. That's not likely to happen two years in a row. Todd Gleason has more from the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois.
