Environment & Solid Waste
Taking Environmental Responsibility Seriously
· 65 individuals became certified in safe pesticide application.
· 510 households receive a bi-monthly horticulture newsletter.
· The Pike County Solid Waste Plan and Recycling Survey were updated.
· Recycling program information was provided to five businesses and communities.
· Over 1,700 students participated in six recycling and solid waste lessons.
