Roger A. Larson is the County Extension Director for University of Illinois Extension in Peoria County.

He received a bachelor of arts in both music and education from Lincoln Christian College, and an M.S. in counselor education from Illinois State University.

Larson is a member of the American Counseling Association, National Board of Certified Counselors and the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals. He was a past member of the Board of Directors of the Havana Chamber of Commerce and the Manito Area Regional Economic Development Organization. He presently serves on the boards of the Western Illinois Rural Coalition on Development and Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe.
