Let me just start right off by saying "Thank You" to all of you who have stepped it up a notch this year. I am so proud to be a part of this group. I asked for your thoughts and you are giving them. I asked for your support and you are giving that too. Keep it up. That's how we grow. And those of you who aren't on projects yet, what are you waiting for? Contact me or Kathy Hasselberg and we will find just the place for you.

Our approved projects are slowly starting their wheels in motion after a long winters nap. We have had a few new projects submitted for approval. There have been several new ideas brought to the table to bring our existing projects to a higher level. I have also received several interesting suggestions from members that could bring new opportunities to the Peoria County Master Gardeners.

This is a year of real challenge for everyone. Let's keep doing what we can to help others. As Wm. Arthur Ward said, "The roots of happiness grow deepest in the soil of service."
