On penalty of being accused of nagging, I want to again address our function and
commitments as Master Gardeners. Our primary reason for volunteering to be Master
Gardeners is to aid the greater community understand the benefits of gardening and to
provide guidance to those in the community that wish to improve their knowledge of
plants and the methods to successfully grow those plants. Corollary benefits are the
enjoyable gardens that we help grow as we meet those objectives. This year we have
had difficulties in securing commitment by many MG's to help at the ICC Demonstration
Garden. We voted to support the ICC Demonstration Garden this year, so I feel that
it will be exceedingly embarrassing for us to fail to support our commitment. I am sure
that there are those among you that need more hours this year and could greatly
contribute to the ICC Demonstration Garden. Please give Stan and Pat a hand to whip
the ICC Demonstration Garden into shape for the Annual Garden Day Sponsored by
ICC. Thanks to all of you for your help and support of the projects we are undertaking.
