Haley Shores was selected for the 4-H Performance Showcase at the Illinois State Fair this year! She sang "Journey's Open Arms" as her act. Congrats Haley on a job well done!
The Clover Olympics was held on Saturday, August 1st. Sixteen teams played six zany games each. This year's games included Gum in the Pie Pan, The Shovel Run, Puzzle Build-Off, Bowling Ball Wheelbarrow, Four Legged Clover Race, and Tire Roll. Each game was a timed event. The top three teams in each age division were awarded a prize! Top teams were determined by the lowest overall times.
Division 1 (Ages 6-10):
1st Place: Ogle Green Thumbs 4-H Club: Emily and Matt Homman, Jennifer and Rebecca Raum
2nd place: Team Charbonneau: Isaac, Faith, Caleb, and Abby Charbonneau
Division 2 (Ages 11-14):
1st Place: Red Hot Chicks: Abigail and Grace Timm, Sabrina Risley, Keelyn Swanson
2nd place: Striking Pandas: Chris and Connor Sible, Kylia Swanson, and Colin Walters
Division 3 (Ages 15-18):
1st Place: Air Heads: Whitney Wetzel, Brittany Hagemann, Jeffrey Rieck, and Cole Bishop
2nd place: Polo Pioneers 4-H Club: Bethany Fike, Brandon and Shane Imel, and Luke Miller.
