The Ogle County 4-H Horse Bowl and Hippology Team is looking for new members! All 4-Hers, ages 8-14, can participate on the junior team and all 4-Hers, ages 14-18, can participate on the senior team. You don't have to have a horse…you only have to want to learn!

So what exactly is Horse Bowl? It is similar to academic bowl…. but horse related. Information you will learn about includes: systems of a horse, tack, equipment, sizes of proper stalls, and proper acreage for horses.

Hippology is a station to station rotation where participants name the parts of "bits" or parts of a horse, for example.
