The K-9 club is for 4-Hers of all ages who are enrolled in the dog project and would like to learn more about caring for, grooming, and showing their dogs! The club will be conducting dog classes on Thursdays at 6:00 pm. The first one will be on Thursday, May 28th at 7:00 pm. Sign up simply by calling 4-H alumni, Laura Overmyer, at 815-289-1743. Participation is free.
The Cat Committee will be holding a cat clinic this year on June 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Auditorium for 4-Hers who will be showing their cat at the fair this year. Cat judge, Patsy Unger, will be sharing care, grooming, and show tips. If you intend to participate in this year's 4-H Fair Cat Show, this clinic will be of tremendous benefit to you!
