All 4-Hers, ages 12 and older, are welcome to become a part of our county 4-H Federation. This group meets monthly to coordinate county 4-H activities, enjoy programs, and have fun.

The Federation has been learning lots about various aspects of nature this year. The Federation members had the opportunity to go to the Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque, Iowa in January. They investigated a number of 4-H projects that relate to nature and tested their knowledge about these areas in February. In March they did some fun worksheets that relate to the new nature related 4-H curriculum.

The April 28^th presentation on Geodes will be given by Mike Henderson from the Burpee Museum. Other upcoming topics:

May 15 – Careers talk (tentative)

June 26 – GPS

Federation officer applications will be mailed directly to eligible members early in the summer. Candidate interviews will be held on July 17^th at the Farm Bureau Building. Elections will be held during the July 24^th meeting.
