Realize Energize Visualize Volunteers for Unlimited Potential (REV UP) is the theme of this year's event. Ohio will be hosting the forum for 2008. It will be held November 6-8, in Columbus at the Midwest Conference Center. This is a wonderful opportunity for fun and learning. 4-H Volunteers from 12 states and some Canadian Provinces will be in attendance. This summer, the State 4-H Office is collaborating with colleges across the University of Illinois campus to bring Illinois teens a new experience. The Illini Summer Academes (ISA) are designed to offer a 15-hour in-depth look at skills, classes, and tools needed for teens to explore various careers and opportunities. ISA will replace the former Illinois 4-H Leadership Convention and is scheduled for June 26-28, 2008.

A Veterinary Science Academy and a Leadership Academy are just some of the exciting classes offered. Space is limited, but any high school teen ages 14-18 by September 1, 2008 may register. For more information, please contact the Extension Office.
