Winter 2008
Enrollment Information

ENROLLMENT DEADLINE

All 4-Hers who intend to exhibit at the 2008 Ogle County 4-H Fair MUST be enrolled in the projects of their choice by April 15, 2008. This deadline applies to ALL project areas. Turn enrollment forms in to your leaders before this date.

RE-ENROLL FOR THE NEW 4-H YEAR

Attention all 4-Hers! It is a 4-H policy that you must complete an enrollment form to be signed up for the new 4-H year. You are NOT automatically re-enrolled. Enrollment forms must be completed and signed by you and your parent. Your 4-H club leader must submit it.

It is recommended that you sign up for your

4-H projects NOW! You can always add projects until April 15th. The sooner we have you in the computer, the better.

4-H CONTRACTS

Worried that you won't quite make 50% of your club's meetings? Want to make sure you can still qualify to show at the 4-H Fair if you can't make enough meetings?

4-H Contracts are available to help you in this situation. Talk to your leaders or call the Extension Office for a form. Contracts must be complete and on file in the Extension office by January 1 (for re-enrolling members) and by April 15 for all new members.

CLUB ATTENDANCE POLICY

Ogle County 4-H members who wish to exhibit at the 2008 Ogle County 4-H Fair must have...

§ Attended a minimum of 50% of the club meetings held since joining. (Note: The "join" date is September 1 for all youth who are continuing membership for consecutive 4-H years. The "join" date for new members is the first club meeting attended.) You must be present for a minimum of 45 minutes of a club meeting to be counted present.

OR

§ Fulfilled those obligations established and agreed upon in a properly signed and filed 4-H Agreement (contract).
