All 4-Hers, ages 12 and older, are welcome to become a part of our county 4-H Federation. This group meets monthly to coordinate county 4-H activities, enjoy programs, and have fun.

This year, Federation is pursuing an "Environment & Natural Resources" theme. Monthly program details are still being finalized, but the plan for the year looks something like this:

Jan. 21 (MLK Day) – National Mississippi River Museum Trip

Feb. 28 – Geodes w/ Mike Henderson

Mar. 13 – TBD

Apr. 28 – Natural Resources Careers Night

May 15 – Canoeing

Jun. 26 – GPS in Nature w/ Greg Clark

July 24 – Fishing

This schedule will have us touring the countryside some, but it should prove to be very interesting and enjoyable!

The Federation has been busy this fall coordinating the 4-H Kick-off Party, the Federation campfire, Advanced Day of Dabbling, and the farm-themed county achievement program. Many thanks to all of the committee members and Federation parents who are dedicated to making things happen in our county!
