All 4-Hers who intend to exhibit at the 2008 Ogle County 4-H Fair MUST be enrolled in the projects of their choice by April 15, 2008. This deadline applies to ALL project areas.

Be aware that the Extension staff cannot accept 4-H enrollment forms from anyone other than leaders! (Exception: Collegiate 4-H Club members.) Once your enrollment forms are complete, please turn them in to your club leaders for processing.

4-H Fair premium checks were mailed out to 2007 4-H Fair exhibitors. If you were one of the recipients, please be sure to cash your check – big or small – as soon as possible! Checks are void after 60 days. If you have any questions about your premiums contact Cathy Anderson at 732-2191.

Worried that you won't quite make 50% of your club's meetings? Want to make sure you can still qualify to show at the 4-H Fair if you can't make enough meetings?

4-H Contracts are available to help you in this situation. Available from club leaders and in the Extension office, contracts are for use by 4-Hers who are overwhelmed by academic, extra-curricular, and 4-H club responsibilities.

Contracts must be complete and on file in the Extension office by January 1 (for re-enrolling members) and by April 15 for all new members.
