This fantastic resource kit exposes students to some of the careers and complex scientific and technical issues related to the field of biotechnology in a fun, hands-on way! The kit contains modular curriculum lessons that can be used together or stand alone. It also contains the difficult to find, expensive, and time-consuming to collect items needed to conduct the activities described in the lessons.

Materials are available on a loan basis. Loan periods are flexible. Call the Extension office to reserve your dates.
Teachers are responsible for kit transportation to and from the Extension office.
The Extension staff is willing to present the activity on DNA extraction pending time availability. Call the Extension office to discuss this if you are interested.
