The Talking with TJ Teamwork Series is an exciting educational program designed to improve student's conflict-resolution skills.
The program is divided into six 45-50 minute sessions designed to teach students basic skills in three areas related to teamwork:
*Making group plans
*Appreciating differences
*Playing as a cooperative team in competitive situations.
Instructional materials include a leader's guide, student activity pages, posters, and a complimentary video. Each lesson is based on one segment of the video and features a junior high school radio disc jockey that helps fellow students make good decisions. .
The program was developed by the Hallmark Foundation in cooperation with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., and 4-H.
Materials are available on a loan basis. Loan periods are flexible. Call the Extension office to reserve your dates.
Teachers are responsible for kit transportation to and from the Extension office.
