"No More White Walls: Color Up Your Home" - Monday, December 14, 2009
"Memory Fitness" - Monday, January 11, 2010
The "Walk Around Illinois" program concluded July 26 after 12 weeks of active participation from 61 walkers. Of those participants, 48% submitted their mileage which resulted in 7,620 total miles walked! This amounts to 5.77 times around the border of Illinois!
Congratulations to all those who participated, and to the top five walkers of 2009: Kathy Thomas, Mary Kay Kalmar, Shirley Puyear, Jo Derby, and James Shipley.
We will do this program again next year, beginning May 3, so keep an eye out for information on how to sign up.
My plea for you to check out our website was successful, or it may have something to do with setting the website as my Internet default page…
Either way, we have jumped up and now are currently #39 out of 86 field offices with the most "hits" to our website! Those of you that have visited this site now know about the valuable information available there.
Thanks for your support!
