The Moultrie-Douglas Extension Unit is the University of Illinois educational outreach to local residents. Programming in agriculture & natural resources, 4-H & youth development, family & consumer sciences, and community & economic development is offered by Extension staff. The Unit also offers programming in the Family Nutrition Program and Master Gardener program. Our goal is simple--to help you put knowledge to work!
Master Gardener Hours
If you have a question for our Master Gardeners you may contact our office at any time and leave a message at 543-3755 or Master Gardeners are in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Master Gardeners can answer questions about a variety of plant and insect problems or identification.

Turkey for the Holidays

The holidays are approaching and it's time to talk about turkey! Check out "Turkey for the Holidays" for all kinds of information from turkey fun and facts to cooking techniques. You can also find the Holiday Hotline phone numbers for assistance with preparing your turkey.
