The Reality Store program is an active hands-on experience which gives young people the opportunity to explore careers and make lifestyle and budget choices similar to those adults face on a daily basis. The program is presented in 3 sections: career exploration; expenditure, decision making, and money management; and choice evaluation.

The Reality Store program can be adapted for use in the classrooms or as a workshop.

Classroom program: 2 class periods or one 120 minute class period

Workshop: Divided into an orientation and Reality Store simulation. Approximately one hour and 45 minutes
