Going Solo

Extension Personnel present the program. Length and class time to be determined on an individual basis. Going Solo is a complete package for teaching the concepts and practices of entrepreneurship and business ownership. It includes lesson plans, a computer market simulation game and supporting hands-on activities. The materials are designed as a comprehensive program or may be used to supplement existing programs. The Going Solo program addresses learning in three fields. Ideal for business classes, consumer economic classes or those who are studying the stock market.

a) basic business concepts-the nuts and bolts of business management.

b) personal development-social skills and etiquette, communication skills and teamwork/getting along with others.

c) process skills-decision-making, creativity, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and cooperative learning.
