Kenya Culture Kit Available in February

4-H Clubs can add an international flavor to their February club meetings by checking out the Kenya culture kit.

The culture kits provide information about countries such as population, climate, industry, food, customs and traditions. The kits usually contain clothing, currency, stamps, recipes, and other items that club members can share to learn about life in the featured country.

Facts about Kenya:

  • The capital of Kenya is Nairobi
  • The main city on the coast is Mombassa.
  • The coast is hot and humid all year round and consists of beaches, coral cliffs and reefs, creeks and coral islands.
  • The area between the coast and Nairobi is dry and arid and climbs up to the higher lands that start in Nairobi.

To learn more about Kenya call 939-3434 today to reserve the culture kit for your February 4-H Club meeting.
