University of Illinois Extension, Monroe County volunteers and staff diligently plan and conduct high quality educational programming for the people in Monroe County. Volunteer and staff leadership to the 4-H Youth Development program is a priority in order to involve youth in positive life skill enrichment, leadership and achievement. The home horticulture programming is very popular due to the increased housing growth in this area.
