With record natural gas prices, Illinois households are facing significantly higher heating bills this winter. Illinois households could see their heating bills jump by 70%, costing the average household $800 more to heat their homes this winter than last winter.

The KEEP WARM ILLINOIS website, offers a variety of Fact Sheets and a Home Tightening, Insulation & Ventilation Handbook to provide a number of NO-COST and LOW-COST ideas to reduce energy usage. www.keepwarm.illinois.gov/
