Ewing Memorial Scholarship Application Deadline Is May 1
Two Ewing Memorial Scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded in 2002. The application deadline is May 1.
Criteria to be eligible for the scholarships are:
Be a junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in family and consumer science or related major and currently enrolled at an Illinois college or university.
Be a graduate of a McLean County high school, or a resident of McLean County prior to college or university attendance.
Be a student in good standing.
Applications are available at: University of Illinois Extension McLean County Office, 402 N. Hershey Road, Bloomington, IL 61704 or telephone 309-663-8306 and ask for Sandy McGhee. Scholarships are sponsored by McLean County Home and Community Education in recognition of Hazel Buck Ewing who was instrumental in bringing Home Bureau to McLean County.
