McLean County 4-H Show & Jr. Show fair entry deadline July 1!

All members should have received their fairbooks and entry forms from their 4-H leader in May/June. Entries are due July 1 by five pm or must be postmarked on July 1.

Volunteer at the Fair

Each year the 4-H show needs over 200 volunteers to assist with judging and other events during fair week. We need your help as 4-Hers and parents to help keep our fair running smoothly. A lot of opportunities exist for volunteering including:

• Judging Secretary
• Fair Tour Guide
• Building Host/Hostess

Ice Cream Sundae Booth

Royalty Nominations Due July 1

Share the Fun

Make memories for a lifetime with your 4-H friends when you participate in Share the Fun. On Thursday, July 30 at 7 pm, come and participate to see 4-Hers showcasing their creativity in crazy fun skits for prizes. This program is for 4-Hers by 4-Hers. Register by emailing techamb@illinois.edu.

4-H TEEN Dance

For a night full of friends and fun, come to the 4-H Teen Dance for 4-Hers age 13 and older, in Cloverleaf Auditorium from 7:30-10:30 pm on Friday, July 31. Two non 4-H friends admitted with 4-Her wearing wristband.

3 on 3 basketball tournament

Join the Fair Fun in a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 31. Sign up from project check in until Thursday at 3:00 pm, club or mixed teams. Check in at court 12:00-12:30.

"Just For Fun" Karaoke

Cloverleaf Auditorium, Saturday, August 1 from 7-8:30 pm. Stop by the DJ table to sign up and choose your song. Get a group of 4-H friends together or sing a solo and HAVE FUN!
