The Barn Keepers will hold their third annual barn tour featuring about a dozen barns north and east of Bloomington-Normal in McLean County on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also featured is the Duncan Manor barn. The tour will also include a historic cemetery, a collection of antique John Deere tractors and a recently restored working windmill. Tickets are $15 per car load.
Tour tickets and booklet with map are available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the day of the tour at the American Legion, watch for the sign at the Towanda-Barnes Road curve on the south side of Towanda. Lunch will be available at Bob Evans, Veterans Parkway, Bloomington and at the American Legion with proceeds to the Towanda Museum. Bob Evans is a title sponsor and the Towanda Museum is a supporting sponsor.
Advance tickets will be on sale at Bob Evans restaurant on Veterans Parkway in Bloomington, McLean County Farm Bureau Building on Hershey Road in Bloomington or the Towanda District Library and Village Office in Towanda.
