The National 4-H Recognition of Excellence program helps prepare 4-H youth for their future. In the 2007-2008 4-H Year McLean County adopted it's own unique 4-H Project Record System with the assistance of the Youth Development Expansion & Review Committee sanctioned by the McLean County Extension Council. McLean County uses the Illinois 4-H Award Application for advanced award opportunities - county and state.
