Federation Excellence Award

Federation Excellence Award was adopted in 2005 by the Federation Board. This award is a travelling award given monthly to a 4-H member who has excelled and done a lot for the Federation Group that past month. Delegates and Board members nominate candidates and the award is passed to the next recipient.

Recipients:

March 2006 - Aaron Phillips - Aaron was nominated for leading a very long meeting and getting people motivated to begin thinking about the number of community service and fair activities. Great Job Aaron!

February 2006 - Emily Parks - Emily was nominated for great planning of the 70's Disco Night in January with 4-H Alumni. Everyone had a great time and the 70's outfits were great!

January 2006 - Heather Miller - Heather was named IL County Fair Queen as she competed in the pageant that weekend. Her peers nominated her for representing 4-H and McLean County.

December 2005 - Laura King - Laura was very involved with planning the Babysitting Night for the December Meeting as Chair of the program. However despite all the planning, the event was cancelled due to low registration. Laura did a great job in working with her committee. Good Job Laura!

November 2005 - Alyssa Bane - Alyssa was very active in guiding the Federation group to plan a Babysitting Night for 4-H families with proceeds to go to the Make A Wish Foundation and supporting Heather Miller to attend the State Queen Pageant. Keep up the enthusiasm Alyssa!

October 2005 - Emily Parks - Emily was instrumental in designing and painting the Make A Wish banner for the 20th Anniversary Celebration. Her portrait of a ballerina was beautiful! Great Job Emily!

September 2005 - Ellen Mulch - Ellen volunteered to serve as the Chair of Recognition of Excellence Committee. Great Leadership Ellen!

August 2005- Danielle Zwicker - Danielle attended her 1st Federation meeting! Welcome Danielle!

June 2005 - Alyssa Bane - Alyssa was recognized for her outstanding efforts as Federation President this year.

May 2005 - Heather Miller - Heather received the award for her contributions to the 4-H Federation group.

April 2005 - Aaron Phillips - Aaron received the travelling trophy for his hard work at coordinating the Back to School Party Supply Drive during the fair.

March 2005 - Laura King - Laura received the first honor of the McLean County 4-H Federation travelling plate trophy. She has played an active role with the 4-H Alumni Committee as Federation liason. Congrats Laura!
